Our Commitment to our Contractors

We believe that businesses should serve people, not the other way around. That means putting people first. This fundamental belief manifests itself in several ways within the company.

​

Our Contractors make above minimum wage. Whether they are paid hourly, or by project, our Contractors have the skills and experience to complete a job within a timeframe that would leave them making more than minimum wage.

We work with our Contractors to fill their schedule, but we also like to encourage them to bring in new Clients all on their own. We have no interest in growing as a company if it means leaving our Contractors behind, which is why Contractors get to increase their bottom line as the company does. This is why our Contractors have the opportunity to earn Referral Rates.

When we ask more from our Contractors, we offer more. Some Clients prefer to have one Contractor, and some Contractors prefer to work alone. This works well for everyone when we can pair the right Clients with the right Contractors. If a job would normally take 2 Contractors 1 hour to complete, we allot 1 Contractor 2 hours to complete the job. This allows the Contractor to double their take-home for a job without costing the Client more. Additionally, we offer our Contractors Solo Work Pay, which is directly proportional to the size of the job.

B.Thrasher Designs does not participate in the customer-is-always-right practice. It is our mission to help people create and maintain healthy relationships. Healthy relationships are built on trust and mutual respect. Mutual respect cannot exist when one person is told they can do no wrong, even at the expense of another, and the second person has no voice to speak up for themselves. We believe that most issues arise from communication breakdowns and can be solved by opening up honest communication lines between all parties allowing the situation to end with a reasonable compromise.

We wouldn’t exist without our Clients or our Contractors, which is why we hold each in such high esteem. Some people believe it is okay to treat those in the service industry as though they are lesser than. We couldn’t disagree more, which is why Contractors have final say over their schedule and the projects or jobs they choose to take on. If a Contractor has decided that a Client is not treating them with the respect they deserve, the Contractor is within their rights to deny services to the Client, provided the Contractor has sufficient records to validate their claims.
